Behavioral Health

The Behavioral Health Program at Gaston Family Health Services, staffed by three licensed clinical social workers, provides one-on-one counseling to patients suffering from depression, anxiety, substance dependence, and more.

In the past year, GFHS has added an adult nurse practitioner and a consulting psychiatrist to the behavioral health team to provide patients with medications and more comprehensive treatment for their mental health illnesses. This opportunity has enabled the team to build an integrated approach to care at Gaston Family Health Services.
